A Moment Of Silence She didn't make it. And I can't think of anything else right now.
Comments:
So sad. I just couldn't imagine. When my sister lost her husband, she was so strong. I'm not sure I could be.

I'm trying hard to return to some semblance of normalcy but I've cried so much today for them my head's all stopped up, eyes swollen, etc. A good friend of mine in Knoxville who is friends with some of their friends and I were just emailing back forth all day crying in email. Everyone's blogs and their mentions - which have all been beautiful - cry some more.

I am really struck by the magnitude of hope there was and of support for him and the kids. It's not just across TN, it's not just across the country - the entire planet was hoping and praying for her. I'm so sad, but that was amazing. OK, I'm shutting up now before I cry again.

I knew you'd want to know that a memorial fund has been set up for the Atomic Tumor family.
To donate, send a check to: Barbara J. Kilpatrick Memorial Fund C/O ORNL Federal Credit Union P.O.Box 365 Oak Ridge TN 37831

Like many others, I am deeply saddened by her death.
