Edwards/Obama in 2008? What do you think of an Edwards-Obama ticket for 2008?
"He is a very talented, charismatic young leader in America," Edwards said of Obama. "I would love to see Sen. Obama and anyone else — Republicans or Democrats who can add in a real way to the dialogue of the campaign — run. We need the best possible human beings for the voters to choose from."
Sen. Hillary Clinton is not the best choice for the democratic ticket and, for awhile at least, when you bring up presidential hopefuls, her name is going to be volleyed about. She's fine by me on some levels but I wasn't all that impressed with some of the things on her voting record. I just don't think she can get the support needed to win a presidential election because for many voters there is the entire eight years she was first lady. Edwards appears fresh and could garner a lot of the populist vote because he's taken a new approach during his time off from the senate and as the latest democratic vice-presidential nominee. Obama is gold right now. We will have to see. Talk amongst yourselves.

Edwards/Obama, A magical ticket > America Wins !

I'm with you, Don, but two years is a long time.
I like them both.

I don't mean to be a harbinger of ill tidings, but that is what I do best after all. ;-)

SENATOR BARACK H. OBAMA REPEATEDLY REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY
RESPONSES TO CITIZENS ON ISSUES THROUGH THE 2004
NATIONAL POLITICAL AWARENESS TEST

SENATOR BARACK H. OBAMA REFUSED TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION WHEN ASKED TO DO SO BY:

Major News Organizations
and key national leaders of both parties including,

John McCain, Republican Senator
Geraldine Ferraro, Former Democratic Congresswoman
Michael Dukakis, Former Democratic Governor
Bill Frenzel, Former Republican Congressman
Richard Kimball, Project Vote Smart President
PROJECT VOTE SMART

I love John Edwards, I'd follow him to the death. But I don't trust Barack Obama. He's DLC to the core and although his voting record is not exactly negative, he still leaves much to be desired.

PN 122: Michael Chertoff, of New Jersey, to be Secretary of Homeland Security,--YES

PN 8: Condoleezza Rice, of California, to be Secretary of State,--YES

PN 329: John Negroponte, of New York, to be Director of National Intelligence.--YES

Neo-Cons anyone? Obama voted for pleanty of them.
This can only mean one thing. Either Obama is too infected with Righty Disease, or he's far too naive to sit in such a high position.

He is one of the best public speakers I've ever heard and that's a good thing. I'm not condemning him at all, I'm just saying we need to be more careful when picking Dem candidates. Something we should have learned from Ford Jr.s loser status.

Happy Thanksgiving, Truly we have much to be thankful for now. :)
