  Digging Johnny...
Comments:
Beautiful, wasn't it?

I'm not a big country music fan, pretty much because the shit that they call "country" these days really isn't.

Johnny Cash, Willie, Steve Earle...
That's country music. And I love them all.

Country, much like Rock and Roll, is much more than just the music. It's an outlook on life. You don't just listen to it, you live it.

Pretenders like Lee Greenwood and the other ass-kissing suck ups with their pseudo-patriotic drivel have no clue what it means to be a rebel. They're to busy singing about flags and crosses to be what they're supposed to be...ANTI-AUTHORITY, ANTI-WAR, ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT.

WQUT, the local "Classic Rock" station in NE Tennessee is another example. They blacklisted Steve Earle's Revolution Starts Now (even though they play Copperhead Road 100 times a day), because the album has an anti-war theme. We jumped their asses hard over it. They still hate us. :)

They even blacklisted Neil Young's Living With War for the same reason.

WQUT and it program director, John Patrick are Rock and Roll in format only. They don't have the guts or the heart to live it.

Sorry for the rant, had to do it. :)

Did I mention I love Johnny Cash? And the familiar faces of great people in that vid is a wonderful thing to see.

Thanx.

Holy shit.

That was just great.
