You Either Win, Or You Don't. Okay, my question is if you choose to run in a primary, and then you lose, shouldn't you support your party. I have been watching the Ned Lamont and Joe Lieiberman race for several months. Joe, with his lack of Joementum, seems to be acting like a tittybaby about the fact that his contituents are not happy with him right now. Argh. Firedoglake has so more. I wrote about this recently when our county mayor decided to run again when he lost to the challenger. He agreed to run in a primary then he didn't win. Isn't the same thing going on with Lieberman? You agree to governmental process, then when it doesn't come out to the winning solution, you decide to jump ship? I really think this is ridiculous. If you are going to goose-step with a party, then shouldn't you respect what your party members decide? Incidentally, I love a good rebel. Lieberman ain't a rebel, he's a politician who has his panties in a wad because he isn't beloved by the very people who have elected him for years, and who are done with him.
