Voting Is A Bad Thing? So Utah is going to bypass this little thing called voters. Unbelievable
I am shaking my head...
Just shameful...
Okay, let me get this straight. What this will do is allow the State government to elect Federal representation because they know better who to pick to represent the people THEY represent. Hmmmm . . . interesting.

If that’s the way I understand it, let’s break it down a bit.

People that “we” elect would elect people that represent “us”. On the surface, that doesn’t sound too badly except for the fact we have to accept whomever they decide is a good candidate.

Neh. This sounds like a pyramid scheme to me where there’s more corruption the higher up you go. LOL!

Honestly, though, there IS some logic going into the statement of “the average voter doesn’t have time to learn enough about the candidates to make a good decision”. I think that is, more times than not, the truth. Hey, I’ve voted in city and local elections where I didn’t know squat about either candidate. I think we all have.

BUT, to assume that locally elected officials will pick a proper representative for us is a bit loony. Too much wolf guarding the chickens there.
Sounds like the electorial college
