Foley Interrupted A Vote? In a break of the birthday festivities, where I believe my buddies and I are going to "throw it down" on Friday and we did a bit last night, I must take a moment to say one more thing on Mark Foley. YOU DID WHAT?
Former Congressman Mark Foley (R-FL) interrupted a vote on the floor of the House in 2003 to engage in Internet sex with a high school student who had served as a congressional page, according to new Internet instant messages provided to ABC News by former pages.

ABC News now has obtained 52 separate instant message exchanges, which former pages say were sent by Foley, using the screen name Maf54, to two different boys under the age of 18.

It just keeps churning and churning. The thing is, these boys were underage. Listen, don't think I'm a prude. There is not a thing wrong with getting freaky naughty, I like freaky naughty, but the thing is, these were kids. Minors. Young people.

Foley messed around with kids.

We are the adults. Mark Foley is an adult. And he knew better.

What else did he do? Did Hastert know? Who all knew? Boehner is already throwing blame at Hastert.

Every man for himself, I guess, in politics because the fecal storm has begun in Washington and I've not seen anything like it since Clinton got his groove thing on with Monica Lewinsky. For the politicians immersed in this particular scandal, you forgot one of the most important things of being in elected office.

Don't mess with kids. Parents will vote your ass out of office quicker than you can say the words "sexual predator". What if it was your kid?

And when it comes to issues like this, there is no teflon. Foley's gone. Hastert, if he knew and it appears he might have, needs to go. And I don't care if Bush gave him a vote of confidence.

He needs to go.

Now.
