Bredesen To Give Keynote
A record graduating class and a high-profile commencement speaker has UT Martin administrators scrambling to accommodate the crowds.
Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen has been selected as the keynote speaker for spring commencement, which will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13.
Two things here, being that I work in the same illustrious community that is part of this fine collegiate institution.
A.) It's an election year.
B.) He's trying to sell his health care package.
C. It's an election year.
But good for those kids graduating. From the way people are acting, I thought it was going to be the band Fuel or Kanye West.
